All teams must play around the country in a play off atmosphere.

Under the Bowl format the games are all played in the southern and western teams home areas. The southern and western teams always have a home field advantage.
Under the BCS format the best teams are not pitted against each other. The teams are given 4 to 5 weeks to prepare and their timing is off and it takes time for the game to really excel.
In my opinion I believe that a 12 or 16 team play off over a 3 week period to then leave the two best teams to play for the championship.
Then all of the bowls can still be played and can provide a great end of the season experience for each school.
The final game can be played in the same format now used by the BCS and the championship game can now be a championship game.
However, to make one point perfectly clear. The playoff format must be played at the higher teams home field. This is the only way it will work and it is the only right way for a play off to work.
If a Florida and Michigan cannot play a semi-final game in Ann Arbor in December, then it is not right for Florida nor Michigan nor for any other college football team. For the game to be played at Florida or a neutral site when Michigan is the higher seed, then the play off is a sham and is not a true college football playoff game.
If This game could not be played and is not supported by 100% of college football, then a true, honest playoff system that is right for 100% of college football has not being made.
