allergic reaction to acai berry

I started taking the original blend acai berry juice a couple of days ago. First off i wanna say that it taste great and made me feel so energetic but after a couple of days i started to get hive's under my arm's and neck. I went to my doctor and told him that i have not changed nothing but added acai berries to my diet. I showed him the hives and rashes and he said that alot of people are having allergic reactions to this berry so be careful when taking it. It really blows i cant take it any more cause i thought it was fantastic If you are going to take it just make sure you read up on the stories about the allergic reactions because there's alot.

Hi the same thing happened to my son,i heard about the acai berry through a friend and i tried it and it was really good for me because have back problems.Then we started to talk about the energy drink that a lot of Athletes were drinking which i got for my son to try and he really liked it,but a couple of days later he started to scratch all over his legs,he said to me that he really liked the drink but it was making him scratch he's know 15yrs of age but had never had his exma for about 13yrs and i was really suprised that it came back but i never stopped him from drinking the energy drink because all his sickness was coming out of his body the first two weeks it was just pouring out of his legs know its really calmed down,ialso took him to family doctor she also said to stop him from drinking the berry but as a mother you no your own kids when there sick,it is going on to the fourth week now and his legs staring to clear up i put pawpaw cream for his dry skinand still drinks the energy drink,and plays really good football.thank for listening

Mona Vie Acai Active Juice

I have been taking Mona Vie Active for over 2 years. No issues at all. I have two friends who did try the drink and did have reactions but no different than any normal food allergy. It happens. If you experience a reaction you should stop immediately like any other food reaction and consult your family doctor if you can.

The benefits I have seen have been in the area of joint pain relief. I have not had any increase in energy that I would claim as part of taking this drink so Im not part of that group. I feel bad for those that are not having good luck with the Mona Vie Drinks or the Acai Berry in general. It is not for everyone obviously. The introduction of a new food to an Area (WEST) is often met with allergic reactions to some. I doubt if you took the total volume consumed and the amount of negative reaction you would see anything out of the unusual.

Having said that, all food allergies are serious and should not be dealt with by non professionals. Consult a medical professional if you can.

Took a look at this product and even tried it. Sadly, I was misinformed on its validity of all natural and fresh. Its a bunch of powdered ingredients so I never trust a company that states one thing and supplies another.

Might as well go back to crushing my own fruit and making my own Juice. I also dislike it when people try to help and suggest a web link and it turns out to be their own business. Like I will trust this guy.

When will people learn.

This product has no value. Just a bunch of marketing hype. Its so blown out on the internet and they actually hype it as being cheaper than MonaVie which has been around for over 6 years and is now a world leader in the healthy juice drink segment of the market.

Of course some people will have allergic reaction to some foods. Thats just our body's reacting to things it cannot handle. Revolucion has its own headaches and their Dealer Network is one of the worst. All they do is negative selling against Mangosteen and others.

Do your homework people and consult your own Doctor when you want to explore new food groups with your diet. That is the best advice to take from anyone.

Watch out for cheap posters that talk about other products and then lead you with a web site link that suddenly shows them as the Distributor who wants your money.

Acai Berry

I wonder how many people have had allergic reactions to the acai berry. I've never had any allergic reactions to acai berry (monavie drink). Well...maybe some day you will be able to drink it again... Check out this healthy energy drink at the following website:
