Why even have boise state,utah,tcu,or any other smaller name schools in the polls if there not going to be giving a chance its a joke to rank them then just jump a team over them just because the big schools feelings would be hurt,what an out of date system all the other divisions use a playoff why not the big boys,money,money,money thats it they dont want a real champion,prove it on the feild the way it should be done voteing paper tigers to be in the big game is so out of date get real or lose the small schools from the polls its a joke to keep playing like they have a chance when it will never happen with the phony system we suffer threw,atleast drop the small schools down to the second division so atleast they can play for a real championship instead of the countless number of subpar bowl games that countinue to be added every year,whats to be added next the hamburger/chicken/corn & rice bbq bowl or the pork & beans bowl,or the mexican/american border jumper bowl,or even the war on terror bowl,when does it end. ewc

Where Are The True Fans of College Football

I cannot begin to think of a time in our Nations Sports history when so many fans are so upset yet the powers to be just keep pouring it on with the same crap of a system they love, the BCS. I live in California but Im a die hard Razorback. Go Hogs. Some of the comments above are pretty much how us true fans feel. The real fans who know football know that the SEC is way overrated. We know it. We have known it. We were just smarter than you all and got a TV Contract that started this whole mess. No question about it we outsmarted you all.

When ever you sit there and watch the games you have to believe that you are being sold. You are. Thats America. We lie we steal we cheat. We want you money. We want you hard earned dollars and now this PHONY BCS System is right in your face.

Future of the BCS

Whether it is phony or not is hard to argue. We have no idea how this whole thing is really working. You call it a phony system and Im not disagreeing with you but we have no clue how this works. Im a Stanford Graduate and we barely support our Football team but we do see the problem. Its obvious. Or is it?

How can anyone or anything be called a champion when No test is in place to take the population of all the competition and show that everyone on Day 1 had an equal chance on the last day. In other words, without a true playoff system that allows all Division 1 schools to compete at the end like in the beginning then to me there isn't a champion. Period.

Im sick to my stomach over this whole topic. I love the Big 10. Im from a long time ago. I do not like what I see in the BCS as a product or an indicator of the future. We should all unite and stop the nonsense. Stop buying their Koolaide folks.

Let the teams from the Small schools compete. Hey, SEC, if you are so tough why not schedule Boise? Come out come out where ever you are. Phonies. SEC clowns that you are. SEC=ESPN we all know this and we all understand what that is all about.

You say big money? I say criminal. No Champions without a Playoff. Do something about this and STOP supporting the NCAA. Look what is happening to USC. They went from Criminals with the Reggie Bush situation to now the entire SEC and some of the ACC are embroiled in the same problem but now its the Agents. Now you see Alabama and Florida crying on National TV blaming someone else.

Where were these schools when the heat and SAME Topic were on this school in the WEST? Paul Dee? He is as legitimate as the Convicts he interviewed to throw USC under the bus. What about all these parties in the East? Im sorry? Doesn't work for me.

BCS Farse

You took the words out of my mouth. All season long this has been the topic. All season long Boise, Utah and others just do their job. Not even sure if it is their fault that NO ONE will play them in their OCC. Im a big SEC fan so you know where Im coming from. Have been for 30 years. However, I smell a rat. This year and last year there was this SELL JOB of the ESPN folks where they made us look much stronger than we are. Well we ain't.

I think Boise and even Utah would give the SEC (top to bottom) a run for the top spot in either side of the SEC. It just isn't the same. Was it ever? This is all about the Networks and they DONT want little USA in their money grab. Won't sell. Won't hunt.

This is what we are dealing with. Its not the Schools of the SEC's fault this is the Money Guys. This is about the growth of Capitalism in the good Ole USA folks.

I say drop the NCAA. Cancel all Network Contracts. set the country up in Geographic Conferences. Keep the cost down. Play local and then a Regiona/Area to National Playoff system. This can work. Its about us folks.
