Bill Clinton Energy Czar

Say what we want to say about BIll Clinton but this guy is one of the greatest politicians of all time. He is incredibly smart and recently watching the interview he did with David Lettermen I was totally impressed. See below:

Watching this video tells me that this man not Al Gore should be the Energy Czar for our country. He is spot on.

President Clinton orchestrated unfair trade

We live in a upside down economy. The industrial revolution in not over and farming is crucial and yet we shop our way out of our jobs buying products made somewhere else. The money spent at retail goes to these places and does not stay here to grow local value added economies.

We have chopped up the Golden Goose that laid the Golden Eggs and scattered the pieces around the world. President Clinton consummated Free Trade as if he was the water boy for the elder President Bush who announced the New World Order.
President Bush the 2nd came along and just continued the practice. This has led our nation into a new kind of Colonialism with our interests spread across the world. Wars followed. President Clinton had his "Wag the Dog" wars in the Balkans and bombed Iraq consistently for eight years. President Bush the 2nd came and orchestrated a pre-emptive war in Iraq creating a 100 crisis.

Surrounding this, a revealing book comes out titled The Confessions of and Economic Hit Man by John Perkins but people put it aside. He tells how the so called New World Economy works. It is a must read book. Read it before reading the World is Flat by Thomas Friedman from the New York Times or The Age of Turbulence by Alan Greenspan.

Lech Walesko of the Solidarity movement in Poland played a major part in the fall of the Soviet Communist empire but ever he says -
I am merely a consumer and know very little about business and economics. - I do know that something is very wrong when 10 percent control the flow of 90 percent of the wealth in the world.

This boils down to Clinton saying it all depends on what your definition of "is" is. If we are merely consumers, we have to live under this definition without resolving much of anything.
