David Ortiz

by Christiane
(USA Boston,Ma)

Stepping into the room.... David Ortiz was being interviewd for the Rohde Island news channel. He was looking at me! Looking at me!

When he was finished with the interviwe he signed our baseballs we got and we took a couple pictures with him. He was HUGE!

We were about to go home. In the car we kept screaming BIG PAPI, BIG PAPI! Over and over again!
When we got home at about 11:00 we talked to my mom and my grandmother about Big Papi and his big home run! They were both tired but they were very happy!

Later that night Kaija (my cousin) and I were thinking of writing a letter to him. So we started to talk about it and before we knew it we were fast asleep!

I was very happy!

Manny A Role Model
by: Dick Jordane

I hardly see Manny as a role model. He is a spoiled brat. He should have been ridden out of the league after what he did in Boston. Period.

I hope Manny is begging for the Dodgers to pay him minimum wage. What a joke he is.

Manny A Dodger
by: Chris in Boston

Manny is a special personality. We miss him and hate him at the same time. He disruppted our spirit in the club house. Yes, it appears that Manny has found a home but we thought that as well a few years ago.

At the tender age of 36 he is no spring chicken but his bat was something special for the Dodgers during their run in the playoffs.

I think he is a Yankee next year...

Red Sox Fans Happy?
by: Alicia, Los Angeles

We love Manny! Thank you so much for allowing the Dodgers to enjoy him this year. We know you must miss his bat but we do understand that sometimes things don't work out.

It would be great to see the Dodgers v Red Sox in the World Series....dreams do come true....
