Dog Walking to Fitness

I know this isn't quite the Sports niche story but I had to lose weight. I had to change my lifestyle or I was staring at a life time of pills and inflammatory disease potentially. I love sports. All of them but at my age they were not as accessible as they used to be. That and my weight of course. When I was in school sports were a natural and I kept in great shape. Today, I chose to get a best friend in the form of a pet. I chose a dog. Having a dog keeps me focused on walking and I have yet to meet anyone with a dog as a pet that didn't have a walking time every day for their loved one.

Im now walking every day sometimes twice a day. The pounds are slowly disappearing and my blood work coming up should show a nice improvement. Im hoping that my old trends are behind me. Also, I have noticed that Im sleeping better at night and falling to sleep right away. Very cool. Very restful. I highly recommend investing in a Dog to help you get in shape and be a friend to a pet in need. They love the attention.
