Planet Berry News September 18, 2009 |
| Hello, Lots of exciting changes taking place within Planet Berry these days. We are seeing an increase in our overall visitor rate that is growing by over 54% year over year. Great expansion and we thank all of you for your loyalty and networking of our site and Total Fitness Mission. With this Newsletter we are moving to a Quarterly format whereby our newsletter will be published four times a year. Periodically, should topics present themselves we will publish mid quarter letters as well. We began experimenting with Social Networks this year and the results have been very interesting. While the time spent on these networks can be all consuming the return on investment (time) is very solid. We started out like many with MySpace then Stumble then on to Facebook. Today we are seeing the largest growth to our returning visitors is withing Twitter. Even the name makes me laugh but the business results and partnerships we have been able to foster by way of Twitter have far outpaced the others combined. Another network worth mentioning is LinkedIn. This is all business. Very good for those seeking partners and advice or looking to change careers perhaps. All business networks tend to be the most productive when focused solely on one vertical topic. I want to take some time to discuss the Alternative Energy market and what that all means to the population in general. Times are challenging right now financially. Alternative Energy solutions are not inexpensive ventures and we all know this. The momentum is now fully tilted towards Solar, Wind and Bio Mass solutions and this is very encouraging. All governments need the constant pressure to keep moving in a Green direction. To lose this momentum now would be harmful for generations to come. The price of these systems is coming down. Still not affordable for all but more affordable year over year and significantly within the Solar markets. The price of panels are at the lowest points in years. Labor is still high and this is a key area of focus going forward. As more competition takes shape in the regional areas for solar this too will come down. Government incentives are available and you need to educate yourself on these programs in your local States, Counties and sometimes Cities as is the case in California with Berkeley and their advanced financial incentives. Send us a note at info@planetberries.com if you would like more information on Solar programs in your area. Visit Berkeley Solar Programs to read about Berkeley's advances as well.
