Goodbye 2008 Hello 2009

Well I don't know about any of you (actually I do) but I for one am very happy to say goodbye to 2008 and hello to 2009 and beyond. Sure the economy is in the basement but it will rise. In fact, it will most likely be viewed as one of the greatest opportunities in our generations life time and beyond.

For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. History and science share in this and soon we will see the same with our world economy. Change is typically one of the key ingredients to the turnaround. In the USA we are hearing and seeing this in health and wellness and our Energy needs. In our brief history with Alternative Energy we are seeing monumental shifts in thinking and investments.

This is key to the success of all future generations. What the world does in the next 10 years will greatly impact the ability of all future generations and the sustainability of the free world for that matter.

Imagine what we and our children will witness as Wind, Solar and Thermal energy sources replace the polluting energy drivers of today. Can we do this? We already are and yes the technology is available and now we will see a new direction in the White House with respect to "attitude" and "actions" directly focused on renewable energies.

Is the glass half empty? Not here. In fact, we are going to be taking 25 years of our IT experience and shift it 100% into the Alternative Energy market professionally. More on this in February.

Total Fitness

We began talking about Total Fitness as a way to express and quite frankly re-think health and wellness. It's certainly important to adjust your lifestyle to be one that supports wellness from a personal perspective but that is only a part of the equation. Total fitness to us means you are eating, exercising and working (key) towards areas that effect yourself personally and hopefully professionally. Everything we do individually should be measured as to how it impacts our planet ecologically and economically. This isn't hard. This is as simple as making decisions on bringing your own Grocery Bag to the market each and every trip. No more need for the paper or plastic. Brink your reusable clot based bag. Don't have one? Total fitness is our belief that you can design an healthy diet for yourself coupled with a solid fitness plan and then carry that all forward to your buying decisions and transportation needs. Everything is linked to each other. Did you buy your groceries locally?

Buy local is catching fire across the nation. What this means is that the products you buy are produced locally in your general region thus reducing the cost and associated pollution from having to transport items great distances. Adjust your dietary menu to fit the seasonal capability of your local region. Crops grown locally will significantly reduce green house emmissions if we all join in and practice what we preach. It won't be easy but it can be done.

College Football Fans

We built a College Football Fan page for those who want to voice their opinion and or vote towards a BCS Playoff. As of this newsletter we have over 800 votes and our goal is to batch 1000 votes at a time to the NCAA Bowl Committee, BCS Leadership and the Networks to show the Fans desire for an open Playoff system in the BCS.
