Energy consumption does not focus soley on the transportation industry, although it is our greatest threat to our lifestyles as we know them. Germany has taken a radical approach to funding the commercial and residential market with low cost loans tied to a zero sum game when it comes to personal and commercial energy use. They are providing loans to individual and business owners to install solar panels to ease the stress on the grid from population growth.

The quick review of the program looks very promising as the invidual or company trades their once high energy payment for a loan payment against the investment of solar panels. From what we are learning, the loan amounts are fixed monthly and typically lower than their crrent electricity rates.

In addition, their rate will not change which without the solar panel investment the rate climb would continue. The overall impact to Germany is incredible and we tip our hats to their leadership for NOT waiting and doing something about our energy needs! Thank you, Germany.

With all this expansion we must keep a careful eye on water pollution as it can quickly turn our expansion plans into a nightmare if left unchecked.

The other glaring destructive path is the reduction in our natural forests which are actually Mother Nature’s own filtering system for the very precious oxygen commodity which permits humans to exist in the first place. So we have manufacturing and automobile waste that pollutes our air and water ways followed up by the reduction in our forrest acreage to satisfy our need for paper and building material.

There is another very sad byproduct lost as well. Our plant and wildlife that need the rainforest for protection are often killed or at the very least uprooted to find new homes and food supply in the name of progress. What we don't know is the great loss to the discovery of medical mysteries that unique plants and fruits are starting to show us more and more like the acai berry of the Amazon!

These precious commodities are providing science a unique and valuable window into a world that for 1000's of years has existed to only those native to their origins. Western medicine is so complex and so synthetic that the comparison of the all natural supplements, such as those sold via network marketing companies or in your stores containing the acai berry are exciting to realize as they become more and more a household word.

If we do not ease back on our present course of rainforest depletion than we will be left with catastrophic events for generations to come and these rare finds like the acai will be lost from our own mishandling of mother nature’s wonderful gift to mankind.

If we embrace new "green" technologies and assist in a lessons learned (western culture mistakes) approach with developing countries than perhaps we can ease the current path of depletion and pollution and re-direct the earth's collision with destruction before the curve becomes a line to which we cannot bend back.

Choice is ours. Unless a calamity strikes the planet from the sky or an earthquake and volcanic disaster occur than our fate will be decided by the decision made over the next 5-10 years. Thinks about it. In five to ten years we will set the course of correction or destruction. Legacy? Which one do you want?

America Needs To Vote!

For fossil fuels? Isn't she from California? Doesn't she ever get home? Maybe thats a mistake come to think of it. She is still advocating fossil fuel improvement (which will never get us close to true Green Planet initiatives) and we need bio/hydro powered vehicles. This isn't about getting the Fords and GM's to stand up to higher standards. This is about conversion away from fossil fuels. It's time for all of us to get our votes out and find the candidates in the next election that are dedicated and educated on the real problem. We need to get off of fossil fuels. Period.

People, when we vote in the coming years it's going to be these votes that dictate the future of whether or not our message for a Green Planet sank in. The candidates that understand this issue are the one's we need in office at all levels. We need to flush the House and Senate of the Finestein's of the world as they have out stayed their welcome and are now doing harm. It is now an embarrasment to the great state of California in our opinion. The alternative to a Green Planet is not acceptable nor is it plausible. Future generations cannot be allowed to inherit the current conditions. Act now and act fast.

We need everyone to do their homework in the upcoming elections and press the candidates in debate locally and nationally on the issues that matter. Do not sit back and expect your neighbor to do our work. We need everyone. Write letters, use the internet (like we are). Go public and fight for your children's future!

We Need A Green Planet Congress

The shape of the world and the weight of future generations rests squarely on the shoulders of today's policy makers. We are out of time and need to move and move with our vote. Without safe food and water we are doomed as a species. This can be turned around and the financial capitol is available but we seek collaboration. Everyone who can vote must think Green Planet. If the candidate doesn't get it or believe in it then he or she should not get your vote!
