Most schools do not get television exposure or do not have conferance playoffs>>>>Besides all that, Football should be decided on the field not the polls.
In order to ace a true BCS champion there needs to be a playoff. A sixteen team system will work and not disrupt the bowls. In fact this format might enhance the revenue in the mid tier bowls by making them meaningful and attract more fans and media dollars tan what they are presently seeing.

The BCS is probably as close to fair this year than in any other year and it still doesn't feel right. Why this group cannot get a true playoff format agreed to when in fact DIV 2 has a playoff is beyond my comprehension and pay grade.
We want a true/real champ. Not this East Coast writer by committee via ESPN bias vote. Its the year 2008. We are over due for a playoff
