No need for BCS - we need a CFB playoff championship

The BCS is not a legitimate championship. Champions are not voted in to the championship game, they win their way there.

There is no need for a BCS - they don't need a BCS for any other NCAA championships.

The whole concept is corrupt, designating some conferences as inherently at a higher level than others, even though they are all Div 1A (or Football Bowl subdivision, as they now call it). BTW, notice that the division with a playoff is correctly called the Football CHAMPIONSHIP Division?

Dump the BCS when their contract runs out and get with a playoff. I'd prefer a 16 team playoff it could be done pretty easily, (with a little conference realignment) with only 2 teams playing more than the 14 games many bowl teams play now. But I would like an 8-team playoff a lot more than this foolish system.

Has College Sports out grown the NCAA as a governing body for sports? With the recent attacks in Florida, Alabama, Oklahoma and now Southern California and USC we have all seen way too much in the form of weak investigation and no concept of Due Process.

It's one thing to not allow a Playoff System and allow this BCS fiasco to continue but the Witch Hunts and lack of due process is very disturbing operating in a country where Due Process is so fundamental to our rule of law.

Is the NCAA above our laws? Are they acting in such a manor so as to be fearless of the judicial system and thus play God with their member universities? Do they not have a contract with the members? If so, would not contract law be admisable in a court of law when Due Process is so obviously disrespected over and over again?

Where is the Media when it comes to this issue? No where and yet everywhere. The Florida situation was a waste of time and money and they went up against the wrong state on that one. Jerry Tarkanian and all those years of waste. Where does it all end? I say it should end right now with the latest triage of the right to Due Process and the rape of USC.

Right in front of our eyes....where is Fox News? CNN? Too busy to worry about Due Process ? Shame on the Networks.
