When it comes to overall health and wellness Planet Earth is scoring very low on the plus side. Our planet has bestowed on it's inhabitants a wealth of gifts from Natures provisions to a race of man, animal and plant life that were designed to work in harmony.
Man evolved over thousands of years to where we are still only using a partial of our brain inherent capability. That is a mouth full as think about all the wonderful inventions and findings we have achieved over such a wide swath of time.
Planet Earth's time table is thought to be finite. Finite is a relative term given the incredbily short life span of the human race individually. Man exists, on average, around 80 years give or take. Earth has been around a few decades longer and will continue as such for thousands more. Man on the other hand relies on a natural food chain that has evolved as well.
Or has it? Has our food chain naturally evovled? Has man stepped in to enhance the bounty of our harvest and provide greater yields of key areas of our supply? Has man created transportation capability that in itself has created a byproduct of waste we call pollution that re-enters the life cycle of our food chain and thus back to our tables contaminated in most cases?
Planet Earth is constantly on a roller coaster. Think of meat for a moment. The earth's population thrives on meat production. Yet, cows as an example, are one of the biggest contributors to air pollution on the planet. We think cars and planes are the culprit but as we expand our food population (meat) we also increase their byproduct of carbon monoxide which has a profound effect on the ozone layer. This is fact.
Alternative energy developments are getting more attention these days. There are many useful developments already deployed. The greates gift man can give back to nature is the pollution free transportation system whereby the exhaust system is steam. We believe that research and development is as close as it has ever been to achieving great break throughs here. We must convince and manage our politicians to spend wisely in this area and not reduce the focus over the next 10 years.
Imagine a world where every turn of the key or push of a button for an automobile resulted in steam exhaust! Not that far away from what the big auto makers are stating. Of course this has hurdles and we may not see great results right out of the door but we MUST pursue this alternative fuel source as it is plentiful and could lead to great reductions in the greenhouse effect from fossil fuel burning transportation systems in use today.
