Every Day Stress Zaps Your Energy

Are We Getting The Proper Sleep Each Night?

Dealing with stress is a complicated topic. We get stressed out from many different angles during a day. From our jobs, our family situations and the media. How we all deal with this is unique to each and every indvidual.

The elements that feed the problem are never ending and change each and very day. We are bombarded with issues that are global and local in nature. Our brains are constantly monitoring and absorbing new pieces of information that increase overall negative emotional levels.

The end result of stress related illness is dramatic. From chronic pain via inflammation to a general loss of energy. We don't see it coming as we are emersed in news and information all the time. We digest the data and process it as an indvidual and many, especially parents, take a double dose of internal pain by weighing the impact of news on their children or spouse.

Children are bombarded with homework, college planning and sports related concerns. To many kids today they cannot deal with this all at once and vent their frustration by over eating or perhaps taking on dangerous anti social behaviors. The media continues to produce material that amps up the hype and portrays the violence in society.

This sells advertising which typically is targeted at the 18-30 range. Guess what they target? High sugar octane which will in itself pile on to the problem and create an obesity epidemic that is spiraling too fast for our healthcare system to tolerate.

All of this zaps are our energy. We must take notice on how we are dealing with information and try to cope with it whereby the level is mitigated over time. There is an old saying from the early 1970's via legendary negotiator Mr. Herb Cohen, "I care, but not that much".

Mr. Cohen applies this level of thought process to his negotiation tactics. It's a great way to shed the weight of all the worlds problems from your shoulders to a neutral place away from your mind.

Seal this thought process away from your vision and thinking patterns. By lowering the level of visibility internally you will help stop the energy loss caused by this gradually until it is completely to the side of your memory banks. Although this level of training was meant for negotiating situations we highly reccomend it. In fact, what part of your daily life isn't an active negotiation anyway?
