Telsa Motors Has Arrived

For those of you wondering what this means it means Electric Vehicles are not that far away! Telsa Motors announced yesterday that they have chosen a site for their main manufacturing site in California. Mayor of San Jose, Chuck Reed, was seen driving a vehicle with a big smile.

This is not just a single product line company. They have been working for years to get the performance and the yields out of the new powerplant being all electric. These are truly exciting times for the State of California and the city of San Jose. Oh, and the people so wanting a powerful Electric Car.

Now I have to wonder what this will do to GM's Volt production car which appears to allow for about 40 miles on electricity and then it apparently kicks into fuel onboard? Anyone care to comment on the Volt? Due out soon as well.

Another big play for Telsa Motors and the City of San Jose is employment and retail dollars at a time when the cities around our country are scrambling to make up for losses in tax based revenue. In the San Jose Mercury news they talked about several additional product lines for Telsa Motors (SUV etc) that they are starting to look at now.

We salute the executive management team of Telsa Motors and their employees for bringing the car to the people!

From what I am reading it appears as though Telsa may be getting new life in the potential of a site in San Jose. Funding is going to come. Will it come fast enough to get this promising company on the map?

We need electric motor cars and we need them Now!

Is Telsa still coming to San Jose, CA? With all the problems in the auto industry this could still be our bright light. They have the technology they have the assembly process and we have the need for Alternative Energy transportation. SO what if they add a bit of style and pop to the picture. I just read an ad where Cadillac is discounting the Escolade to 57,000. Down some 9 or 10,000 dollars. Are they kidding? Its a darn truck at under 15 miles per gallon.

Telsa, please come to California. We all want to see you succeed!

What a great win for the State. Once again California is leading the nation in innovation for Alternative Energy for transportation. Telsa Motors has what looks like the dream car for the buying public.

The car market is dying for innovation. Telsa Motors we salute you and thank you for choosing our great state of California and the city of San Jose.

Now lets get that price down so us peons can buy your car and proudly drive it in Southern California....
