The only major sport that guesses who their champion is.

The poll system is horrible. Especially removing the AP has made it worse. At least the AP has less motive for hidden agenda.

USC suffers from playing in a weak conference. Playing these teams is mandatory. Conference rules and scheduling is not equal across all conferences.

Alabama is somehow punished for not going undefeated!? Why are they held to such a lofty standard?

Any of the 1-loss Big12 South teams could win 1 game for the national championship. For that matter, any team in the top 10 could do so.

At what point do teams like Boise St and Utah ever deserve at shot at the championship? BYU once won a national title. Sadly, no other non-BCS6 conference team will ever get a chance under this format. Notre Dame plays a similar schedule to that played by Boise St and Utah. However, if they were undefeated at this point they'd be ranked #1.

BCS Must Go Soon

Yesterday would not be soon enough. The Fans are pissed off. The schools are caught in a budget hell and need the flow of BCS evil money. We as fans need to stop the support of the merchandise from anyone who advertises on the TV!

With the massive recession and Ad dollars scarce the BCS needs to change to a format that can sustain the interest in CFB forever. The present situation could become the GM or FORD of the Sports mecca's.

A very simple and Fan appealing approach with an eight to twelve teem playoff system is all that is needed. Keep the Bowl games if you must they are what they are and represent great tradition in the sport.

BCS Good Start Bad Execution

The BCS is bad. The BCS is horrible when stating or naming a College Football Champion. Given their current format it cannot legally state that their Champion is "The" champion. No playoff exists. Today, you see Texas and Utah and let's not forget Alabama are feeling left out. We all laughed at Tommy T and Auburn a few years ago and has it gotten better?

We would almost certainly agree it has not. The BCS is making matters worse with competition improving year after year. The Conferences are not the issue. The format is.

Change now. Change forever. Fix the Crowning of a Champion today!
