Type 2 Diabetes and Acai

Let me say that what I have experienced I cannot fully cast the results on this wonderful little berry the Acai. About a year ago I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes. I think this illness is more of a threat to the world population than the rising price of gas at the pumps. When I first got the word I was over weight by about 44 pounds so I was classified as obese. You would never hear that from me and my wardrobe of loose fitting exercise gear!
Soon after I got the news and had all my medications neatly stacked up on the counter (don't get me started) I began to research the internet and Type 2 Diabetes. This illness is getting more and more attention as to prevention than anything I have ever seen. I was hooked.
A friend of mine, also Type 2, came over to help me re-evaluate my diet and exercise. Since I had nothing to show it was easy. My friend changed my diet and helped me to design a simple walking program along with some very light weights to life three times a week. Then she said "I will be right back" and she went to her car and brought me a white box of this Acai Berry juice.
Well, the first taste was delicious. She poured it over ice since we had a warm bottle. Totally refreshing. I began taking the drink and soon my aches and pains were diminishing and I was able to extend my modest work outs 10-20 minutes a session.
Im sure there is more to it than just this wonderful Acai Berry testimonial. But you know what? I have now given up Coffee (10.00/day) and Im drinking my Mona Vie twice a day. I love it. I won't give it up. My blood work is finally trending in the right direction and my Type 2 Diabetes is under control. Im hoping to be off these little pills soon.
I hope you like my story and I hope I hear from some of you soon.
