Walk Versus Drive

Many of us live in areas whereby we could walk to the market. Not everyone but some. Just think if we all did like most do in Europe? What is that you ask? Well let me tell you. They don't rely on large thousand dollar appliances to store food for 1-2 weeks at a time. I find this funny in America because we have such a refrigerator ourselves and I swear we go to the supermarket 3 times a week anyway. But my point is that in Europe they may go to the market every day.
The difference is that they buy what they need for that day or perhaps two days. No large storage required and the food is fresh as can be. They do this for the following reasons. One, they don't own large kitchen appliances and the fuel cost to drive your car to the market is prohibited for them financially in some cases.
So, my fellow Americans, what do you think? Walk to the market every day. Get those 10,000 steps in the easy way and save fuel, slow down the emission pollution and feel good about yourself!
