I am seriously thinking of taking a trip to the state of Washington this spring/summer. Would love some local knowledge from anyone in the community of Runners to offer advice on best time to come (weather wise) and races that they personally have run and benn associated with in the past.

Any additional events other than what is posted here on the site? Would really like to get some information on the backgrounds of the events and any other items, assuming a 3 day stay in the State of Washington.
Always looking to emerse myself in the local cultures food, music and people in general.
